$5 surcharge for less than 48 hours notice
$5 per additional pet
$10 surcharge for last minute walk (requested after 6 PM the night before)
$10 surcharge for a visit on a holiday (see holiday schedule below)
$15 Cancellation Fee: After 8 PM the night before the service
$20 surcharge for inclement weather – when MCPS closes schools for inclement weather, or on a weekend when there is inclement weather such as ice or snow that makes walking dangerous
If the dog is not home when I arrive for the visit, that is considered a last minute cancellation

Payment is due the first walk of the week. If you don’t pay on the first walk of the week, you will be required to make a Venmo payment before any further walks are performed.

For Vacation visits, if the check is not there upon the first walk, a venmo payment needs to be made before any additional walks are performed

• All clients that have walks scheduled on a regular basis will receive one fully refundable cancellation per month (when you cancel by 9AM the day prior to the walk).
• For any additional cancellations that month (when you cancel by 9 AM the day prior to the walk), you will be charged a cancellation fee of $15
• Last minute cancelations (cancellations requested after 9 AM the day prior to the scheduled walk) incur a cancellation charge equal to the visit.
• The only exception is if the Federal Government is CLOSED due to weather or some other emergency.
• Wags to Whiskers, LLC understands the need to cancel for multiple days due to vacations, out of town business trips or other reasons. If you need to cancel 3 or more consecutive business days please contact me at least 14 days in advance to avoid incurring a charge for those cancellations.
• Holiday Cancellations: Please understand that pet sitting services and kennels receive more requests for reservations than they can handle during these holiday time periods and we may have turned away other clients because we have reserved time for you during a busy season. If you cancel seven days or less before any holiday, you will be charged for half of the visits.
• If the dog is not home when I arrive for the visit, that is considered a last minute cancellation.
